WRIGHT BROTHERS AND THE INVENTION OF AIRPLANE

The Wright brothers were the Americans who made the world's first successful air plane flight and made the first controlled,powered and sustained heavier than air human flight on 17 December 1903.The Wright brothers were Orville(August19,1871-January 30,1948) and Wilbur(April 16,1867-May 30,1912).In 1905 they developed their plane to the first practical fixed wing aircraft.They were the first to invent aircraft controls and their most relevent invention was the three axis control system.
They even worked to make bicycles,motors and other machines.Their major belief was that unstable machines like planes can be controlled by practice and experience,like bicycles.Only five bicycles built by Wright brothers are known to exist.The bicycle St. Clair was built in 1898 was less expensive than others.The Wright brothers claim for inventors of airplane has been under much controversy and there are many counter claims by other aviators.But Wright brothers contribution to the aviation field will never be forgotten.
